Summer Intensive

NEBC's Summer Intensive is open to students in academic grades 5 to 12 at the time of the winter audition. NEBC offers a comprehensive and intensive curriculum during the summer program.

Curriculum for the summer intensive*

Classes run from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Demonstration

On the last day of each session, a demonstration will be presented which parents and families can attend.

Levels

The first day of each session, students will be placed to a specific level that will fit them best during their training.

Lodging

Arrangement is made for students from out of the area to stay with host families.

Auditions

The admission to the summer intensive is only upon live audition or by video audition.

Video taped auditions are permitted and should not be more than 15 minutes long. The video must display the student's work in a regular ballet class and must be received by NEBC before March 30, 2008.

In order to be considered at the audition, you must complete and submit the attached application prior to the audition date. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the audition.

Tuition

For each session, the tuition is $1,200 for day students. For resident students, the tuition is $1,500 including tuition, residency (lodging and meals)

You may choose to attend only part of the intensive. The tuition is $450 per week. Resident students pay $100 per week for lodging and meals.

The full tuition is due by the first day of classes. There is a 5% discount for full payment received by May 16, 2007.
